FCURP provides on-site Practice-to-Outcomes Trainings (PTO) to assist child welfare caseworkers and supervisors in connecting their day-to-day casework practices to both the Federal Indicators measured in the federal Child and Family Services Review (CFSR), and Illinois child welfare procedures. The training is presented in an interactive style that encourages participants to identify, discuss, and share information that supports quality casework practices. This training is approximately 2 hours in length.

FCURP also offers the Outcome Enhancement Review Case Practice Analysis Training to supervisors, managers, and quality assurance staff. This training provides participants with tools to identify specific elements of casework activities, assessment, and documentation that directly impact agency performance and OER/CFSR findings. This training is approximately 3 hours in length.

Agencies are encouraged to identify areas of practice they feel should be expanded on, or reviewed with their staff, so that each training fits the needs of the agency in the context of strengthening practice and family outcomes. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are awarded for each training session.
